3. Functions

Operation modes:

1. Live mode

- Press the button, the screen lights up for 15 seconds, showing the image taken by the camera.

2. Photo taking

- Card inserted: photos are saved to TF card.

- No card inserted: 11 photos are saved in the memory (old photos are automatically deleted).

3. Photo browsing

- Long press the button → enter the gallery → short press to scroll.

Power saving:

- The screen turns off after 15 seconds of inactivity.

- The power consumption in standby mode is 100 μA.

4. Applications

5. Limitations and features

- No motion sensor:

The device is not equipped with a motion sensor. It can only be activated manually by pressing a button. To view visitors, the screen must be turned on manually.

- No video recording:

Smart cat's eye only supports taking pictures. The built-in memory and TF card only save static images (photos are in M-JPEG format). It is not possible to record or create videos continuously.

- How to make up for the lack of motion sensors:

Take one photo each time you press the button - continuous shooting is not supported.

To record events, it is recommended to save photos manually in time.

- Security:

Not supporting video recording can reduce memory load, but photos need to be saved more carefully.
